The year is 1963 and Dame Dorothea Dosserdale School for Girls has a proud tradition of fostering free spirits from all walks of life, however the new Headmistress has other plans when she attempts to instil her strict Victorian values.
Crush is a brand new musical premiering at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry from Friday 4 – Saturday 19 September. A toe-tapping coming-of-age romp, the production stars Rosemary Ashe and Sara Crowe, is written by Maureen Chadwick, the creator of Waterloo Road, Footballers’ Wives and Bad Girls, with music and lyrics by Kath Gotts.
St. Trinians meets Malory Towers in a show with lashings of charm and plenty of catchy tunes, celebrating schoolgirl friendships and fighting for what you believe in.
