Town Hall Symphony Hall, HarperCollins Children’s Books and the bookselling mini-chain Foyles have confirmed that multi-talented and award-winning author David Walliams will be coming to Symphony Hall for his biggest event yet. Fans young and old will be able to hear, for the first time ever in front of a live audience, David talk about his new children’s fiction title, The Midnight Gang.

David Walliams and THSH will be inviting families from Birmingham Children’s Hospital to attend the show for free, and £1 from every ticket purchased will be donated to Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity. HarperCollins Children’s Books, David Walliams’ publisher for both his fiction and picture book titles, will also donate a copy of The Midnight Gang to every child staying in the hospital.

This pre-Christmas season spectacular will take place on 20th November in the heart of Birmingham. Fans are encouraged to take part in the midnight magic and come dressed to the event in their pyjamas for some classic Walliams silliness!

Hosted by CBBC presenter, Katie Thistleton, the audience will hear David read from The Midnight Gang and immerse themselves in the glorious world of David Walliams. They will also be able to meet some of their favourite characters from the book including the loveable Raj – so should arrive early!
