Inbetweeners star and funny-man extraordinaire, Greg Davies will be doing his bit for charity this June as he takes to the stage at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre for the 2015 Hilarity Charity Gala.

Organised by Central Youth Theatre (CYT) the gala is back for 2015 with last year’s event seeing the likes of Josh Widdicombe and Jo Richardson tickling the funny bone of over 900 people to help raise funds for Central Youth Theatre in the wake of losing its council grant support.

Money raised at this year’s gala will go towards the build of a purpose built home for the youth theatre, right opposite the Grand Theatre.

Compered by comedy legend Daniel Kitson, the gala will also see Elis James (BBC3’s Crims), Katherine Ryan (Mock the Week) and Wolverhampton’s very own Pappy’s (BBC3’s Badults) tickle the money out of the audience’s pocket all in the name of a good cause. Tickets are already flying out of the door as this will be the first time Davies has been on stage in over 18 months.

Hilarity Charity Gala takes place on Monday 8th June. Tickets are £21 (£16 concessions) from the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre box office on 01902 429212 / www.grandtheatre.co.uk
