Flatpack Film Festival is returning to Birmingham this December with a rather festive fringe event. Silent Night is an evening of silent cinema and live music at Birmingham Cathedral, organised in partnership with Colmore Business District, Film Bug and Flatpack Film Festival. The evening kicks off with Buster Keaton’s silent comedy ‘The Cameraman’  which shows exactly what happens when you give a monkey a camera.

To add a little bit of festive cheer, the evening will also see a re-imagining of ‘A Christmas Carol’ in the form of a 1910 short from Edison Studio. Both films will be accompanied by live music from pianist Paul Shallcross and of course some very Christmassy refreshments.

Silent Night will be hitting Birmingham Cathedral on Friday 14th December at 7pm. Tickets are £5. To book  click here
