Crawlr

Find the perfect match with Tinder for D&D

Finding a group of fellow players to go dungeon delving and dragon slaying can be a laborious task, particularly if you’re new to the world of tabletop RPGs. However, Crawlr a new Tinder-style web-app is connecting players both on and offline, making party management as easy as walking through an enchanted forest.

Crawlr connects tabletop RPG players with one another, meaning you don’t have to sift through reams of forum threads and Reddit posts to find your perfect party. The brainchild of Jackie Zantow, as part of her M.A in Business Design and Arts Leadership, the app’s beta version has been so popular its servers actually crashed earlier this week, a true testament to the need for an app like this.

Free to use, players create a profile which covers everything from what games they play and the role they prefer (player or DM), right through to the level of role-playing they are comfortable with and whether they like to play in-person or online.

While it’s still early days for Crawlr, there’s a definite need for an app like this and we can’t wait to see how it evolves.
