The Gods of Nyx return to Magic: The Gathering this month as Wizards of the Coast announces it’s latest card set, Theros Beyond Death, not only for tabletops but also digitally on Magic: The Gathering Arena.
In Theros, the pantheon of gods vies for undying devotion among their mortal subjects. But in the Underworld, there is only one master: the Lord of the Dead. Break free from death’s shackles as a hero reborn. Choose your god and fight in their name…or forge a destiny all your own.
Theros Beyond Death brings with it both new and returning mechanics as players return to a once-familiar world. From managing enchantments to unleash the powers of the constellations to paying the toll and allowing cards to escape your graveyard, players will endeavour to please the pantheon in a bid to claim further power.
To coincide with the launch of the new season, Magic: The Gathering Arena, is now available on the Epic Games Store as well.
